SOME MATERIALS USED ARE OVER 100 YEARS OLD AND MADE IN THE USA Nature Creation's Origins Nature Creations was established in 1991 while trying to keep a little country in our lives. When the photo to the right was taken over 100 years ago, little did my ancestors realize that their homes and barns would be recycled into functional and unique birdhouses. Over years and years of weathering, the wood and metal takes on an appearance that only time can dictate. Through the use of these materials, a decorative and nostalgic piece of folk art has been created. You can enjoy them as a wonderful accent indoors or adopt a bird family outdoors and provide them with a cozy shelter. We hope to continue to reflect our areas history here in Southeastern Illinois. The Red Barn Today our barn looks quite different from it’s former glory. Today, it is the home of “Nature Creations”. We are very proud of the quality handmade folk art birdhouses we make here. Below you can see some of the effort it takes to re-purpose these worn and tired barns and homes of Southeastern Illinois.
